I have to disagree
with David F. Wallace. Wallace says that “it is unimaginably hard to do this, to stay conscious and alive, day in
and day out”. It’s not hard, to help others. It’s not hard to pay attention,
being aware and to have the discipline for making the time in a way to give
back to others. People do it all the time. From Missionaries to charities, People
are willing to sacrifice their time to help others in need. For example the 2015
San Marcos Memorial Day flood, many people gathered to help after the flood. I personally
saw the city’s command center where they directed new volunteers to streets in
the flood zones. The volunteer count was up to 450 people on a single street,
and many more still in line to help. Wallace says it’s hard to be alive, day in
and day out. Life is hard, but you have to be full of love, caring and
compassion to your neighbors, and to treat everyone with respect even when you’re
not treated the same. You must try to be calm and collective. Even though this
will never happen all the time, but we can make it a good life habit. I like to
always look in to the positive side of things so I know that there will be some
sort of good at the end life.
I disagree with your disagreement because I don't believe he is saying it is hard to help others but I believe he is saying it is hard to help yourself stay happy or go through life with out thinking of putting a bullet though your head at least one. Also on your point of helping people is easy is true as long as you look in small portions but think about the 795 million people who are starving, is there a way of helping all of them. No because although many do want to help there just aren't enough people to help all 795 million, so it would be hard.
