I think our eyesight is the most trustworthy sense we have. Without realizing it we rely on our eyesight every second- to drive, to eat, to watch and observe things. On the other hand blind people in society have no eyesight- yet they are successful in life even without the ability to see. Although that's true of eyesight, our touch is the least trustworthy sense. I recently watched a movie where con-artists were shown pickpocketing innocent people. How they accomplished this was through tricking peoples' minds by touching them somewhere obvious to distract the person(a shoulder or hand) and then simultaneously stealing from the person somewhere else on their body(a watch, ring, purse). This works because the victim is concentrated on the first touch by a stranger that they don't even realize the con-artist touching somewhere else on their body and taking from them.
I personally rely heavily on my eyesight and trust and use it the most on a daily basis while something like touch is more unreliable.
